Mega Sports Firearms in Plainfield, Illinois is home to one of the most respected indoor shooting ranges in the Chicagoland area. Our custom designed shooting range is clean and state-of-the-art to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for shooters of all skill levels.

Range fee:  $13.99 - all day!

All concealed firearms must remain concealed & holstered at all times when in the store; this includes while on the range. Any firearms you would like to shoot on the range must be brought into the store unloaded and in a carrying case or range bag

• No outside targets are permitted. Only targets purchased at our store are allowed on the range
• No reloaded ammo is allowed on our range. No steel or aluminum case ammo are allowed on the range.
Only the following approved ammo is allowed on our range:

• Handgun caliber's only, Rimfire rifles and handgun caliber rifles are permitted.
  
• No centerfire rifles are permitted. (e.g. .223, .30-06, etc.)
  
• Shotguns are not permitted on our range.
  
• No rapid fire, double tap or drawing from a holster. (No Exceptions)
  
• No benchrest shooting.
  
• No videography/photography.
  
• If you need help with anything pertaining to the use of the range safely please speak up and ask us to assist you. Please make sure it is prior to you going into the range.
  
• Eye and Ear protection is required. You can rent them from us if you don't have them.
  
• Range rules are posted at range entrance and must be read before entering the range.
  
• Uncased firearms may not leave your stall for any reason (No passing firearm from stall to stall). Anytime your firearm leaves the stall it must be encased and unloaded.
  
• Range patrons can only pickup their own used brass in their shooting lane behind firing line.
  
• Always keep firearm pointed downrange.
  
• Always keep finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
  
• Patrons are not allowed forward of the firing line.
  
• Persons firing towards unsafe areas such as walls or ceilings or targets in other lanes, will be ejected from the range immediately and will lose range privileges.
  
• All persons must conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner while using our range. Any person or persons acting unsafe will be asked to leave and not return.
  
• No person under the influence of alcohol and/or substances is permitted on the premises.
  
• Mega Sports staff reserves the right to refuse without specific reason, anyone the use of our range facility, use of rental firearms or sale of any merchandise in our store.
  
• All patrons of range enter at their own risk. All range rules and polices are subject to change without written notice.
  
• Any violation of our range rules can result in immediate removal from our range and violators can be held responsible for any damage or injury that occurs. Violators will not be allowed to return to our range.

How to apply for a FOID card

To apply for your FOID card, go to the Illinois State Police website. You will create your own account, fill out the application, upload a photo of yourself and pay for it all on-line.
